Aspira Association is Awarded with the
Independent Sector 2002 Leadership
Award The
Leadership
IS Award sponsored by ChevronTexaco Corp. was established
in 1999 to honor outstanding organizations for their leadership
in investing in the people of the independent sector as
they work to build community. The Leadership IS Award
supports this important principle by acknowledging an
organization that incorporates the development of future
leaders in its policies and daily operations.
The
award also provides an opportunity for INDEPENDENT SECTOR
to address directly the value and importance of investing
in the people of the sector by celebrating an institution
that embodies this principle in spirit and practice.
The award will presented at the INDEPENDENT SECTOR
Annual Conference in Cleveland, Ohio in October, 2002.
