Community Update: Clarifying ASPIRA's Organizational Affiliations and Continued Services
Dear Families, Partners, and Community Members,
We recognize that recent changes involving three former ASPIRA-affiliated charter schools have created questions within our community. We want to provide clear, factual information about ASPIRA, our history with these schools, our current relationship, and our path forward.
As names, logos, and branding continue to evolve, we want to ensure families, partners, and community members understand what has changed—and what has remained the same.
UNDERSTANDING THE CHANGES
ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania is not affiliated with CHP or ASPIRE.
CHP, which operates the Cyber, Hostos, and Pantoja K–12 schools, is a separate organization and is not affiliated with ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania.
In addition, ASPIRA Bilingual Cyber Charter School has been renamed ASPIRE Bilingual Cyber Charter School. Community members may also notice changes to school names, logos, and branding. While some visual elements may appear familiar, these schools and organizations now operate independently and are not affiliated with ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania.
Our goal is to ensure families and community members have accurate information as these changes become visible throughout the community.
We encourage families, partners, and community members to verify information about ASPIRA programs and services through our official website and communication channels.
OUR CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO YOU
While organizational affiliations have changed, ASPIRA's commitment to the community remains as strong as ever.
ASPIRA continues to proudly provide the programs and services that families have come to know and trust, including:
• Pequeños Pasos de ASPIRA
• ALAS Childcare
• ASPIRA City College
• Out-of-School Time (OST) Programs
• Summer Programming
• Transportation Services
• Food Services
• Parenting Classes
• Security (STM)
• Custodial Services
• Maintenance Services
For decades, ASPIRA has worked alongside families to provide educational opportunities, support services, leadership development, and pathways for growth. That legacy continues today.
We remain committed to serving children, families, and the broader Philadelphia community with the same care, integrity, and dedication that have defined ASPIRA for generations.
We recognize that change can create uncertainty. Our hope is that this update provides clarity while reaffirming our ongoing commitment to the community we proudly serve.
